New Product: Lord Byron Love Letter Bracelet

My love affair with love letters continues. I have been having so much fun making my Love Letter Charm Necklaces that I decided to branch out and make a bracelet inspired by a love letter written by the famous Romantic poet, Lord Byron, to his mistress.

I created a silver-plated, scalloped focal charm with Byron’s letter, accenting the words “Amor mio” (“My Love” in Italian) and added lovely Swarovski pearls in pastel shades of lavender, mauve, and ivory to create the Lord Byron Love Letter Bracelet, a perfect gift for Valentine’s Day, particularly for a book lover or anyone who wants to infuse their wardrobe with a little poetry and passion.

Lord Byron Love Letter Bracelet

Described as “mad, bad, and dangerous to know,” Byron was the bad boy of Romantic poets. He was known as much for his many love affairs and scandals as he was for his work, which includes one of my favorite poem,”She Walks in Beauty.”  This bracelet was inspired by a love letter he wrote to his mistress, Teresa Guiccoli

All in all, I wanted to create something utterly romantic and utterly feminine.  The lovely pearls makes the Byron Letter Bracelet an obvious fit for special occasions like weddings, but I put together a style gallery that shows a range of outfits you could wear it with. (My particular favorite is Poet blouse and skirt combination (middle row, on the right).  There is something rather rakish about that outfit that I think Byron would totally approve of!

About Ciarrai

Hi. My name is Kerry but here online I tend to go by the Gaelic version of my name, Ciarrai. I am a woman in my mid-30's who lives on Long Island, NY, with my husband, Rob, several guitars, a Nikon D40, more yarn, beads and books than I care to admit to and a cat who has a million nicknames and quite a few theme songs. I have a B.A. in Psychology and have recently returned to college to pursue a teaching degree so that I can eventually get a job as a High School English teacher. In addition to my major obsessions (Reading, Beading, Knitting, Music and Photography), I also enjoy playing Board Games, going to Renaissance Faires, Museums and Broadway Musicals.
