New Product – Hand-Knit Vanilla Cream and Caramel Tam Hat

A few days ago I posted about a hand-knit tam that I had knit for Ciarrai Studios. It was an amazing hat, with gorgeous colors and so incredibly soft that I wish I could find a way to let you guys feel it over the internet. It sold out in less than 15 minutes so my comments about it  were a little after-the-fact.

But I just finished making another hat. It is made out of the same decadently soft, all natural undyed Alpaca / Merino wool that the last one was made out of  but  this one is the yummiest shades of Vanilla Cream and Caramel. One of the many things that I love about this hat is its vintage, timeless feel.  Tams remind me of the hat that Daisy on Downton Abbey wears whenever she is out and about or one of the many hats worn by Mary Margaret on Once Upon a Time.

It  is available on my shop as we speak but I make no promises about it staying there for long. Evidently, these hats are so amazing that if you blink, you just might miss them!

About Ciarrai

Hi. My name is Kerry but here online I tend to go by the Gaelic version of my name, Ciarrai. I am a woman in my mid-30's who lives on Long Island, NY, with my husband, Rob, several guitars, a Nikon D40, more yarn, beads and books than I care to admit to and a cat who has a million nicknames and quite a few theme songs. I have a B.A. in Psychology and have recently returned to college to pursue a teaching degree so that I can eventually get a job as a High School English teacher. In addition to my major obsessions (Reading, Beading, Knitting, Music and Photography), I also enjoy playing Board Games, going to Renaissance Faires, Museums and Broadway Musicals.
