Celebrating My Birthday – Hobbit Style!

Birthday-Sale-Annoucement

My birthday is just a little over a week away and I am going to party like a hobbit! I may be rather tall but I believe I am a hobbit at heart and I am going to celebrate my birthday as any good hobbit would – with plenty of good food, good company, music and stories!

Another hobbit – y tradition is to celebrate your birthday by giving presents, instead of just receiving them, so I am giving all my lovely Ciarrai Studios friends a 25% discount on all my handmade literary jewelry.

Use the coupon code: BIRTHDAY14  to save on lovely book jewelry like this personalized Tea with the Hobbit Necklace

The sale ends on Sunday, May 31st so visit my shop today at www.etsy.com/shop/ciarraistudios

About Ciarrai

Hi. My name is Kerry but here online I tend to go by the Gaelic version of my name, Ciarrai. I am a woman in my mid-30's who lives on Long Island, NY, with my husband, Rob, several guitars, a Nikon D40, more yarn, beads and books than I care to admit to and a cat who has a million nicknames and quite a few theme songs. I have a B.A. in Psychology and have recently returned to college to pursue a teaching degree so that I can eventually get a job as a High School English teacher. In addition to my major obsessions (Reading, Beading, Knitting, Music and Photography), I also enjoy playing Board Games, going to Renaissance Faires, Museums and Broadway Musicals.

I want to do this too! I’ve been wanting to throw a hobbit party on Bilbo’s birthday too (September 22). As many hobbit parties as possible.

I had a customer buy two of my Tea with the Hobbit necklaces because she and her bff (who shared a birthday) were having a huge Hobbit themed birthday tea and she wanted them each to have the perfect necklace for the occasion. From everything she was telling me, it was such a fun party I wish I had gotten an invite myself.
