Happy Birthday Sir Arthur Conan Doyle!

Today is the anniversary of the birth of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, author and creator of Sherlock Holmes so it seemed like a good time to touch in about the Blog Party Book Club’s reading of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. According to our updated timeline, we have about a week and a half to read the book.

I am starting to put together some discussion questions to start off our discussion of the book but I am curious about the number of people we will have in that discussion. If you are planning on taking part in this month’s Blog Party Book Club, give a shout out in the comments!

If you are just finding out about the Blog Party Book Club, this month’s book is a collection of short stories and a fairly quick read so there is still time to get involved.  For more details, visit: http://bit.ly/1fHRuLj

About Ciarrai

Hi. My name is Kerry but here online I tend to go by the Gaelic version of my name, Ciarrai. I am a woman in my mid-30's who lives on Long Island, NY, with my husband, Rob, several guitars, a Nikon D40, more yarn, beads and books than I care to admit to and a cat who has a million nicknames and quite a few theme songs. I have a B.A. in Psychology and have recently returned to college to pursue a teaching degree so that I can eventually get a job as a High School English teacher. In addition to my major obsessions (Reading, Beading, Knitting, Music and Photography), I also enjoy playing Board Games, going to Renaissance Faires, Museums and Broadway Musicals.
